ENG 471 - Advanced Creative Writing Workshop

A workshop for writers at an advanced level. The course is interdisciplinary in scope. Participants work in a variety of genres. Any given class might include novelists, short story writers, poets, playwrights, screenwriters, and writers in creative nonfiction. Students will submit work on a regular basis for class critiquing and will read and critique the work of others in the class. Some work submitted might include revised versions of previously submitted work.

Prerequisites: 300-level writing course or permission of instructor.
