CHY 222 - Organic Chemistry II

A continuation of Organic Chemistry I, including a survey of the major functional groups of carbon compounds. Knowledge of reactivity is applied to structural analysis and organic synthesis. The integrated laboratory reinforces concepts from lecture. Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 4 hours.

Prerequisites: CHY 221 or equivalent.
