MAT 111M - College Algebra (with and without workshop)

This course develops the student’s ability to use a range of algebraic structures, including linear, polynomial, rational, exponential and logarithmic functions.  The focus is on the interplay of these concepts across algebraic and geometric contexts, using algebra as a language for expressing problems and using algebraic and graphical methods for solving problems, data analysis and other applications.  The student will apply these tools to a wide range of applications.
