PHI 201 - Ethics An examination of the task of ethics to elucidate the concept of the good life; to investigate ideas of obligation, duty, and responsibility; and to decide what ought to be done. The student explores traditional themes of right conduct. Through readings and discussions, these themes are applied to relevant contemporary issues such as war and terrorism, the connections between business and environmental ethics, sexuality, suicide and euthanasia and drug use.
Prerequisites: ENG 101.
