ECO 445 - Urban-Regional Economics Economics of business and household location decisions and the formation and spatial distribution of urban places. Economics of land rent, intraurban land use allocation, and the suburbanization of households and businesses. Economics of urban and regional growth and decline and the effects of public policies involving taxation, industry subsidies, public service and infrastructure supply and environmental regulations and quality.
Prerequisites: C- or better in either ECO 350 or ECO 420
