SFR 211 - Forest Operations Planning Principles of planning industrial forest operations in the United States and Canada with specific emphasis on the logging industry in Maine. Addresses the basic components of a forest operations plan from equipment selection, implementation of best management practices, road location, stream crossing selection, administration, and production analysis. Labs will have field trips during schedule periods.
Prerequisites: MAT 122 or MAT 126 and SFR 106 and SFR 107
