ENG 435 - The Bible and Near Eastern Literature: A Multicultural Perspective Focuses on the Bible as an anthology of fiction, myth, and polemic arising out of specific cultural and philosophical contexts; exploration of the relationship between Hebrew, Canaanite, Egyptian, Mesopotamian, Greek, Roman, and Christian literature.
Satisfies the General Education Ethics Requirement.
Prerequisites: 6 hours of literature or permission.
