CHY 590 - Topics in Chemical Education

For students who are pre-service or in-service science teachers or future college teachers. Topics may include: use of spectroscopy and other instrumentation in the curriculum; review of current literature in Chemical Education; pedagogical strategies in large and small chemistry classes; assessing student learning in Chemistry; constructing a curriculum development cycle. May be repeated for credit.
