MSL 350 - The Evolution of American Warfare Historical analysis of American theory of warfare from colonial period through Operation Desert Storm and the applications of Force XXI. Social, economic and political influences are examined, tracing the evolution of the American military; the development of a global military strategy, imprint of the social fabric of the nation on the military as the United States evolved into a world power. Additionally, the student will examine the effects of institutions on organization structures. Technology and the practice of warfare is emphasized. Lec 3.
