CAN 101 - Introduction to Canadian Studies Acquaints students with varied aspects of the Canadian experience: society, culture, history, native peoples, environment, education, technology, economy and diplomacy. Participating faculty include Canadian-American Center staff, visiting scholars from Canada and the United States, and faculty members from UM Colleges. Course includes an optional field trip to Canada.
Satisfies the General Education Western Cultural Tradition and Cultural Diversity and International Perspectives Requirements.
Prerequisites & Notes First-year student or sophomore standing.
