AVS 346 - Dairy Cattle Technology


The first of a two-course sequence involving a work experience at the University Dairy. Students are responsible for the management of the University dairy herd, including feeding, milking, reproduction, maintenance and marketing. Students, along with faculty and staff advisors, make and implement management decisions that affect the operation of the Dairy.

Satisfies the General Education Ethics Requirement when taken in combination with AVS 145, AVS 249 and AVS 349. Lec 3, Lab 4.
