DIS 450 - Disability as Diversity II


Building on DIS 400, students will examine and analyze the service, support, and community contexts in which people with disabilities live, work and participate. The concepts of accommodation (including assistive technology and adaptation) and universal design/access will be used as analytic lenses through which to assess service and community response to disability and to propose strategies to improve inclusion and social justice for all people including those with disabilities.

Satisfies the General Education Ethics Requirement.

Prerequisites & Notes
DIS 400 or permission.
