NUR 333 - Health Care Information: Evaluation, Synthesis and Expressions Introduction to the vast array of sources of knowledge in health care fields, and how the knowledge is used in nursing practice and academic contexts. Topics include: use of search engines and databases; evaluation of information from primary and secondary sources; and detection of ideological biases in health care literature. Development of professional writing skills is a major element of the course, including technical writing projects specific to the nursing discipline.
Satisfies the General Education Writing Intensive Requirement.
Prerequisites & Notes ENG 101; nursing major or permission.
