MAT 103 - Elementary Algebraic Models in Our World An introduction to the applications of algebra with a focus on data analysis and model building. Topics include: graphs, algebraic equations and functions. Primary attention will be given to using linear, quadratic and exponential functions to represent and interpret real world applications.
Satisfies the General Education Mathematics Requirement.
Prerequisites & Notes MAT 101 or 2 years of high school algebra.
