LAS 100 - Majoring in the Liberal Arts and Sciences


Orientation to campus resources, including people, and to the academic community, with special emphasis on the values and habits that characterize the liberal arts and sciences (such as curiosity, openness to new ideas, respect for people who hold different points of view, an appreciation for careful methods of discovery and proof, and a willingness to share good ideas for the benefit of the community). Stresses access to resources for college and career success. Pass/Fail Grade Only.
